This year’s Summit will held in Shenzhen, the window city of China to the world. Adjacent to Hong Kong – the international finance, trade and shipping center, Shenzhen has been playing an important role bridging the mainland economies with Hong Kong. With the unique nature resource along its coast line, Shenzhen has been one of the best hub ports and is becoming the CBD of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone.
Centered around the topic of “Managing Change”, the Summit will focus on the changing pattern of world trade and shipping, especially the development of BRICs – Brazil, Russia, India and China and their effects on the world shipping industry, and discuss the strategies to manage such changes. |
