Captain Zhang Liang is the Managing Director of COSCO Bulk Carrier Co., Ltd. He is also the chairman of China Tianjin Shipowners Association and Director-General of Tianjin Navigation institute.

A PhD on business administration and an entitled senior engineer, Mr. Zhang Liang is also a visiting professor of Tianjin University and a pluralistic tutor in the MBA Centre of Nankai University. As a deputy of Tianjin People's Congress, he also has special responsibility for giving management advisory to Tianjin Municipal government.
Captain Zhang graduated from Dalian Maritime University in Ship navigating major. He ever worked as a manager of human resource department in COSCO Tianjin. Then Captain Zhang was promoted to a deputy Managing Director in COSCO Tianjin, deputy Managing Director, the Managing Director in COSCO BULK.
Captain Zhang achieved the master in transport plan & management major from Shanghai Maritime Shipping University.
