As a senior researcher and director of COSCO R&D, Mr. Yang has been with this company for 16 years and his extensive experience focuses on marketing, chartering, operation of the bulk fleet as well as shipping law. Within the headquarters of the group, he was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Transportation Division with the main responsibilities of terminal business, commercial aspects of shipping.
Holding a master's degree in Economics, he did a LLM degree in commercial law in the University of Bristol, England with the sponsorship of Chevening Scholarship.
COSCO R&D is doing researches on different sectors of the shipping market, strategy research for the whole group as well as researches on ship's technology, IT, etc.
