Baltic
Exchange chairman in July 2003, Peter Kerr-Dineen has been
working in
the shipping industry for 29 years.
Educated at Cambridge University and the holder of a degree
in
Archaelogy and Anthropology, he launched his career in shipping
as a
management trainee with Ocean Transport and Trading in 1975
and began
by working for Elder Dempster, where he focused on the West
Africa
trades.
He joined Howe Robinson in 1976, working the China desk.

is one of the largest privately-owned dry-cargo and containership
broking houses in the world, with some 50 brokers based
in the London
head office and branch offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai.
