Arjun Batra is a Shareholder and Director of Drewry Shipping Consultants where he is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He is also a director and shareholder of North South International Limited, Digital Ship, Maritime Content, LNGONEWORLD and Henschien Insurance Services.

Previously Finance Director of Stelmar Shipping (now NYSE listed) and Easyjet Airlines (now LSE listed), at both companies he was a founder member of the start up team. Before that he was Insurance and Project Manager at Troodos Shipping and Trading Limited, which at that time managed in excess of 6 million dwt of tankers.

A Master Mariner, who trained with P&O Bulk Shipping and served on Crude and Product Tankers, Gas Tankers and Bulk Carriers. A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Ship Broker's, a Member of the Nautical Institute and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from CASS Business School, London, a degree that he completed with a distinction, specialising in ship finance.
