Born: 10th May 1945 in Jonkoping
Education: High School in Jonkoping. Marine academy mate and master exam in
Kalmar 1966 respective 1968.

Career: Joined the Swedish merchant marine 1962 at an age of 16. Have served in general cargo carriers, bulk carriers, tankers, car passenger ferries and cruise ships, primarily with the Brostrom group, till the end of 1973 when became shore based. First in a forest industrial group, later in technical and commercial capacities in Sal¨¦n Invest and ended up as president for the Sven Sal¨¦n AB (the shipbroking arm). Since 1984 in executive positions within the Stena Group, since mid 2000 relocated to Switzerland.

Member of the board of Swedish Club 1991-2003. Between 1999 - 2001
Chairman of the Board.

Representing Sweden in the board of BIMCO ( The Baltic and International Maritime Council) between 1999 and 2003.
